Remake of the brochure "About... Languages in Luxembourg" by the Information and Press Service of the Government

The Information and Press Service has just republished the brochure About... Languages in Luxembourg. It is part of the "About..." series that aims to highlight specific aspects of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. This publication has been revised and enhanced and comes with a new layout.

The brochure succinctly outlines the origins and the development of multilingualism in Luxembourg, the use of languages in everyday life, such as in politics, in the workplace, at school and in the media, languages in the cultural sphere and measures to promote the Luxembourgish language. A QR code at the end of the brochure takes readers to a website containing useful links, thus allowing those interested to delve further into some of the aspects covered in the brochure.

The brochure of 20 pages is available in French, German, English and Luxembourgish.

Like other publications of the Information and Press Service, the brochure can be read, downloaded and/or ordered on the website www.gouvernement.lu and www.luxembourg.lu, under the header "Publications". It can also be ordered from edition@sip.etat.lu.
