On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the battle of the Bulge, a commemoration will take place on Monday 16 December 2019 at the American military cemetery in Hamm, in the presence of representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Belgium, Canada, the United States of America, the French Republic, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Poland and the United Kingdom and veterans of the battle of the Bulge.
Members of the Government, the Chamber of Deputies, the State Council, the magistrate and the Judiciary, as well as mayors of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg will also be present.
The government wishes to invite interested people to attend the commemoration, which will take place on Monday 16 December 2019 at 3.30pm at the US military cemetery in Hamm. As the number of places is limited, invitations will be issued in the order of Registration.
To this end, interested parties will be able to register online only via the website https: //maee.gouvernement.lu from Wednesday 4 December 2019.
Please note that the access route to the US military cemetery in Hamm will be closed on 16 December 2019. A free shuttle service will be organised. The logistical information will be provided after online registration.
